We were so happy to find a place that wasn't a chain!!! The service was good, the food was good too. If we're ever passing through here again I'd be sure to stop here again.

Fantastic first time here and it did not disappoint. Shrimp and grits were the best I have ever had. Loaded chips were amazingAnd Chrissy our server was excellent. Highly recommended

They have the best fried green tomatoes! Wings are delicious too! Great coastal southern food.

Great food and excellent service junkyard chicken was delicious. Cornbread and rolls served with every meal.

Let me start by saying, I never leave Google reviews. Google reviews are a big reason why we chose to stop by this place as we were passing by. The staff were nice and accommodating. However, my husband ordered a basic burger. The bun was stale, the onion was brown and starting to rot, my Lima beans had a pound of salt in it, the fried chicken was dry and tough. Save your money and your time, the food here was over priced and not good. We left hungry because the food was close to inedible. Sorry guys, go over to Taco Bell, quality is much better!

Very good food. Great service as well. I had the sweet tea buger and it was excellent. I will admit was scared to order it because it had jelly on it but i am telling you take the chance its excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection

I love this place. The food is always great and the staff is very friendly. We sat at the high top tables beside the bar and Lexi was very attentive. I would recommend Sweet Tea Grille to anyone that wants great food reasonably priced and a comfortable family atmosphere.

We enjoyed so much yesterday that we went back today. I loved the fried tomatoes and cheese grits as something southern. Enjoyed our main courses too.

Wow! So gooooooood. The other photos of the pork and grits plate don't do it justice, the portion is way bigger than it looks in the menu! Had to take more than half of mine to go. Friendly & fast service too! A senior came in and sat in the booth beside mine and multiple staff came over and had conversations with him, warms my heart to see staff be so genuine and kind. This place is awesome.

Food was mediocre, service was good. They set up our group of six in a passage between two back areas far away from the only other group there. (It was at 4pm.) As a person with preexisting condions, I did not feel horribly exposed.

We were staying at a hotel near by and decided to go here based on the reviews. The restaurant is very dirty, the ceiling tiles are gross, and my seat was a little sticky. The menu has a mix of pricey and cheap things, I got shrimp and rice and my dad got a burger. Every single thing we got was cold except for the burger. I just don't understand why this place has such amazing reviews? The food was good flavor wise, but if you are visiting Savannah then just go somewhere downtown.

My family and I LOVE Sweet Tea Grille! Every time we have family visit from out of town, we choose Sweet Tea for dinner! Their policy to hold off on seating a table until all parties are physically at the restaurant is a little inconvenient at times, especially with young children... but service and food quality NEVER DISAPPOINTS! Try the fried green tomatoes- one of my favorite dishes!

The food was great, highly recommend it. Only thing I saw was their gumbo was fantastic but, their menu says you'll feel like your walking down the streets of New Orleans. It wasn't as good in my opinion but, like I said it was really good.

Overall I was impressed! Great taste, the green beans were delicious and mashed potatoes with gravy were excellent. The fried chicken tasted extremely good but was a little cold and you could tell it had been fried a while back. If they start serving fresh fried chicken they easily get the fifth star. Almost forgot, very friendly staff too 🙂

Fast and friendly, good food. Location and parking aren't that great, but it's worth it when you find it. 4 stars because not all of our food came out together, and a couple items were forgotten but brought later. They were respectable of a food allergy and safely accommodated (wheat and gluten). Good salads and Shrimp n Grits!

Amazing food. Fast service, just an odd location.

We stopped at a local hotel for the night and needed to get takeout as we didn’t want to leave our dogs alone in the room. We called in the order and one of us went to pick it up. The food was hot, portions great for the price, order accurate, appropriate and adequate condiments. The food was fantastic. We enjoyed the meal - shrimp skewers over rice with 2 sides, & hush puppies for me and the philly steak & cheese & fries for my husband. So much better than having to get fast food. So happy they were close by.

Great stop for dinner on the way to Fort Lauderdale!! The bacon-wrapped, pimento-stuffed jalapenos were amazing! Our server was pleasant & efficient. Restaurant was clean. They have a full bar.

Sweet Tea Grill is always fresh customer service is great I was having a bad day any Waitress Nicole brighten up my day a plus reassured my order was correct and when I got home it was correct and delicious.. Thanks Sweet Tea for being fresh and on point.

This is the awesome end of day find after the car breakdown and then AAA not finding anyone to tow me back home today. Georgia Peach Palmer's, amazing food and all the Pokemon action right from the table. Had the fried green tomatoes, the shrimp & grits and both were excellent. Will most definitely be back. And Julie was THE BEST WAITRESS!

Food was so good! I had fried chicken steak and my bf had the fried pork chops. Meat was juicy and flavorful and the fried green tomatoes we had for an appetizer were bomb! Going back! And our waitress was very sweet also!!!

Love to eat here every chance I get. Definitely worth the stop to eat. I have tried several different items on the menu and have not been disappointed. Sweet tea is always good. Try the fried green tomatoes! Love it here.

Forgot to get pictures! We were in there today ariund 4ish! Always a great experience at STG! My SO & I both got salads and our 7 year old got a cheeseburger with fries! The cornbread is always amazing! Never fails! We've also tried the duck nachos last time we were the a few weeks ago! Definitely one of our favorite places to eat since we moved to Savannah 😁🙃

So far so good, 1st time. The bartender was awesome and the rest of the staff were cool. The fried green tomatoes needed to be seasoned better but the wings were really good.

Excellent, attentive service! Heard good things about the chicken tenders, couldn't decide between them and the fish nuggets(mahi mahi) so ordered them BOTH. Was not disappointed! Light, tasty batter on both items.

In this time of covid-19 you would think restaurants would step up their game and improve their food and their customer service. Nothing like poor service from a waitress who obviously doesn't enjoy her job. Fried green tomatoes were great but chicken was cooked in old oil. Waitress never cleaned off dirty dishes, couldn't remember my drink and just flipped the food onto the table and left. Will not be back!

Really enjoyed this place. Keisha B was our server, she was excellent. We were traveling thru and booked a hotel next door. The restaurant caught my attention by it's nice appearance. I googled it and got exactly as described...good food, friendly fast staff and service. Very relaxing. Nice location and comfortable place for a quick lunch. Would return there again.

Food was wonderful ! But server was horrible did not barely come to our table did not bring us the bread rolls I had to ask another server when she brought our appetizer ! She slid my friends drink across the table did not even respectfully come up to us and give us our drinks !! She repeatedly walked by us and did not ask if we were okay or tell me her name !! She could have did way better and communicated alot more

I had an excellent meal and great service at a very reasonable price. The icing on the cake was the key lime pie for dessert.

Ordered lunch from here 1/10/20 against my better judgment. I got the full fried shrimp with green beans and fries. I wanted macaroni and cheese, but they said that was not on the menu that day. The fries were horrible they didn't taste fresh. They actually looked and tasted like they were fried in old grease. The green beans were ok. Long story short for the price I paid which was 19.21 it was not worth it. The only thing that was decent was the shrimp.

It was great comfort food. Everyone got different stuff all over the menu. The staff was friendly and it was fast service even with a bus of people that got there when we did. Even they got there food fast. We well stop again when we travel through.

Finally got to try this gem cause it’s normally packed and now I know why cause it’s really good. Chicken casserole, potato salad and greens. This was the special and can’t wait to have it again. Waitress was very good and attentive.

The food was fine but the restaurant was cold both times we went. The customers were all eating in their coats and jackets. The employees said something about the floors staying damp.

So I got the seasonal meal. Corned beef cabbage potatoes and carrots. I love corned beef and it was Saint Patrick's day so I thought why not?On my plate was a huge portion of exactly that. It had boiled red potatoes which were fine.Slightly over cooked baby carrots.The cabbage that was cooked in some sort of stock or meat drippings which made them excellent.And last but definitely not least was the corned beef. It was slightly pink and so tender I did not pick up my knife once.This place is a little pricey but it is 100% worth it
